Yes SPDIF is the normal display. Use the SPDIF modules in your Project.

Thanks,
How do you identify that you have the aes plate ?
Except for the extension cable...

Mr Arkadin is correct. there are AES components on the Plus I/O plate

look for these 2 IC's.

If they exist on your plate then it is a PLUS plate.

Sorry for bringing this topic back but i wanted to ask what are these "IC's" and where can i find them?
I have the plate with the aes cables (i bought the plus plate).
Is there any possibility that they will not work?
And if they work how do i connect them in the project?
What happens if i also have spdif connected?
Thanks.

You can look for the ICs by taking the I/O plate of the card. The ICs are little square black thingies with white print on them.

Thanks.
I will look for them.
What about the connection in the project?
I can't find any aes module.
Is it the same with the spdif?

On an AES / EBU card, the drop down menu will only show up as SP/DIF's.

Choose the SP/DIF's.

What are you hooking up BTW?

if you have an xlr whip, you have an aes plate.
