decimator, I don’t know what you mean with modwheel amount in conjunction with MVC, but I wanted to make a new MVC anyway, with integrated esync adder. extended PWR range is a good idea.
nice mp3 Jimmy. I like these "reverse" sounds too, however I think it’s made with attack slopes isn’t it?
I made updates for the 8-stage EGs, which now have switches for internal/external EG tempo, and edit/play mode.
in edit mode levels and times can be set, and are constantly updated. this can produce glitches, so after editing times&levels it’s better to switch to play mode.

Yes it is Attack & Decay Slopes.
Lower polyphony causes note stealing, which re starts the envelope.
But I was using this dry w/o Warp69's Inverse Reverb, or the G.O.S.T. Reverse looper, and only the expression pedal to change the slopes.

Hey while I have your attention,...is it possible to build a Modular Patch that serves as a MIDI controlled enevelope, where the poly could be set at 1 voice, and I could route external Guitars into it and choke the audio in the same way that I do with the current patches I use...?
I am always trying to get those type of sounds in realtime, and snappy envelopes, effects and the DAS Gate can do wonders internally, but with external audio is something I would really like to achieve.
Sorry if I can't explain myself very well, but hopefully you are catching my drift.

This performs like my hardware synths' envelope. Snappy is cool, but reverse is even cooler using negative values. But this digital stuff has other terms, but still does the same thing.
Accurate and very nice Roy...Thanks Again.

I use pedals to change my enevelopes on my hardware synth and this works a little faster due to the immediate connections in the routing window.
Using a SpcaeF CC Device I can have my pedal cocked back for normal envelope settings, and then step forward and get reverse or whatever setting I desire.
The reverse ones are great for live/dynamic use.

A nice fuzzy FAT BASTARD indeed.
Thanks Roy.
I am really enjoying Modualr creations now, mostly thanks to SDK and 3rd party guys, and the great manuals and tutorials.
I am using the OD Gain maxxed, and Dynomic is sending the cool Harmonic textures pre Filter, so using all of the I/O's into the X/Y and the Flexor Spice I have an amazing sculpting capability.

Mucho Gracias Cabrone.... :D

Hi Roy,
In MVC A there are outputs for ( among others ) Note, Vel and At but no Modwheel out or Foot Pedal out as well.

If you are working with the MVC how about PAT too??

Eric.

Well that would be awesome, but one of these will be needed.
My partner bought this for 500 USD a few months ago from ebay, and he hardly knows what to do with it.
I would be happy to help in that endeavor.
BTW Decimator, Mon Frere,....the QW2.1 presets were marvellous..
Merci.

I demo'd the VAX77, didn't like the action, had some strange response in the velocity curve, but MIDI 2 specs allowed me to nail twice the amount of sample layers, and yes some dude was messing with a Roland JV2020 and was editing and playing the Poly AT settings, and it was working perfectly well.
It is probably the best choice for PAT, especially with it's portability.
Perhaps they have worked out the bugs.
It drove me nutty trying to get use to the weird action.
It actually felt just like an Ivory keyed acoustic on the bounce back, but the intial attack was as bad as a spring synth keybed from the '80's...
The Oberheim synths were definately very FAT but their most expensive models used the same keybed as their OBX, etc. Springs............yeeccchhh, awful.
The Kurzweil above has yet to be used as Poly AT. I did play a Piano 1U Module and the action is heavy and stiff like a real Piano. But OMG this thing weighs a ton.
Too bad we can't fold fold that fucker in half like the VAX..

1. I just can use the atoms SC (kindly) provided me.
2. I dont have a keyboard that can generate PAT, so I cannot test if the Scope/Pulsar cards can handle PAT, or if the Modular MVCs can handle PAT.
3. my new MVC gives me a warm welcome like this:

Thanks for the example patch Roy.
The Filter being swept by CC# 21 sounds sweet. I added a little dirt to the patch from the OD on the Filter and suddenly it reminded me of a Hohner D6 Clavinet.
I still can't figure out how to attach multiple destinations but your example works fine.
I am use to seeing the connections.

haha, this is awkward. the most important part of the patch is missing: the connection between MVC ass.Ctrl out and asyncDezip.
I don’t know why, and I don’t know why it works nevertheless!
cool mp3!
