<a name="planetz-file"></a><a href="http://www.planetz.com/Pulsar/files/modular/GMDrumSequencer.zip"><img src="/forums/images/file_icon.gif" border="0" alt=" File"> File</a><BR> <a name="planetz-tag"></a>Type: Drum Sequencer<BR> <a name="planetz-tag"></a>Pulsar Version: Pulsar 3.x<BR> <a name="planetz-tag"></a>Requires: Modular 2<BR> _____________________________________<BR><BR> hello,

this patch contains a new great module built very kindly by j9k on my request.
it's a multiple midi keyzone with 8 ins, 8 outs and a merge out, with individual transposition.

this way i was able to load 6 drum seq.modules, all set with note n° 1 at their outs, transpose all the 48 outs each to a general midi drum voice value, transposing each one with it's gm note n° minus 1, change the names in the text fields, and get a fantastic gm drum sequencer.

there are only two notes less, as the gm set counts 50 instruments.
i left out "midi click", that's useless, and the note n°35 "ac. bass drum".
of course if you need it, you can modify any other sound, like "scratch push" or whatever you don't need....

the drum seq. modules are placed in two rows, and the corresponding j9k key z8 modules are below in other two rows. there is a 7th key z8 module that is used as simple midi merge of the other 6. if you need to, there are other two inputs for merging also the midi clock or whatever you may want to add.

the patch is triggered to play with any note from n°49 up, while the octave from note n°36 to 48 changes the patterns.

i kept the seq. modules not clock linked, so you can have different swing for everyone.

the patch is quite heavy, as 6 dr.seq. modules are not a joke, i tried to load in a luna2 system but it was near 100% and i had dsp error messages.

i didn't make presets, but you can build your own also changing some note values if you have different sets to play, you can also delete some modules to have it lighter, and save different versions....

j9k's key z8 is in a beta stage, even if it works good in this patch, the author wants to optimize it a little more before putting it for download, but he agrees with my posting here the patches that use it.

so, big thanks to j9k, and enjoy.

Hi,
here's a picture, if you've not tried the patch yet:

I've updated my 3rd party modules page as well.
